Our studio executed a high-fashion editorial photoshoot for Myntra, focusing on capturing the vibrant street style and bold colors of the featured collection. The project required creating a compelling narrative that elevated the apparel beyond standard product shots, optimizing the imagery for e-commerce platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
Objective:
To produce a diverse set of elevated, aspirational photographs that successfully blend commercial product clarity with a high-fashion, editorial aesthetic, driving engagement and sales for the Myntra collection.
Challenges:
Balancing Aesthetics and Commerce: Ensuring the dramatic, stylized lighting and composition did not obscure the key product details (texture, fit, color) required for online purchasing decisions.
Location and Environment: Maximizing the use of a stark, architectural environment (white walls, strong shadows) to create clean, powerful contrast that highlighted the apparel's vibrancy without appearing overly cluttered.
Design Process:
We focused on compositional storytelling and lighting control. This included:
Styling & Art Direction: Developing a cohesive look that paired bold accessories (like the red sunglasses) with the colorful apparel to enhance the street-style narrative.
Lighting Strategy: Employing hard, directional light to create sharp shadows and defined lines, adding a modern, graphic quality to the images.
Asset Versatility: Capturing a mix of full-length, medium, and close-up shots (details on the cuffs, jacket texture) to serve multiple digital touchpoints, from banners to product pages.
